Plan Types Example

When users subscribe to this subscription plan type, they will become active for a lifetime. Their subscription to this plan will never expire and they will continue to have given access indefinitely.

This subscription plan type cannot be renewed. User must switch to another plan in the same category when this plan expires. This plan type can be used for both free and paid subscription. 

This is a special kind of onetime subscription plan. However, all subscriptions of this plan will expire on the same date specified on the plan irrespective of when the subscription was created. This is ideal if you want to have a batch of subscriptions that expire on the same date.

This type of subscription plan allows you to give free access to subscribers for a specified period after which they are expected to make payment to renew the plan or switch to another plan in the same category to continue to enjoy membership access.

This type of subscription plan allows you to give access to subscribers at a trial price below the regular price (e.g., $10) for a specified period after which they are expected to renew at the plan's regular price (e.g., $25) or switch to another plan in the same category to continue to enjoy membership access.

Fixed amount or percentage discount can be applied to both one-off and recurring subscription plans. Discount start and/or end date can be specified if you wish to offer the discount within a specific time frame. Discount can also be restricted to only new, renewal, or switch subscriptions.

This subscription plan automatically renews (if the payment method used for the initial payment supports recurring payment). 

For this example, the subscription renewal payment will be processed every week until subscriber or admin cancels the recurring subscription payment.

For example, this is a monthly recurring subscription plan with a free trial for the first two weeks. 

No payment will be process immediately but after the first two weeks, payment will be automatically processed every month until subscriber cancels the recurring subscription.

This subscription plan automatically renews at the plan's regular price after the paid trial period (if the payment method used for the initial payment supports recurring payment).

For this example, we have a monthly recurring subscription plan with a paid trial for the first two weeks.

Subscribers will be charged $10 immediately but after the first two weeks, the plan's regular price of $50 will be charged automatically every month until subscriber cancels the recurring subscription.
 

This recurring subscription plan type has a fixed number of payments/installments. Once the fixed number of recurring payment is reached, the recurring subscription payment will be terminated. 

For this example, we have a weekly recurring subscription that charges $25 every week for four (4) weeks. After the fourth charge, no other payment will be processed for the subscription.
